Zoraya ter Beek has also stated that she doesn’t want to continue living like this anymore because of her mental health. This sheds light on the importance and the acknowledgment of how important mental health is these days. “I’m seeing euthanasia as some sort of acceptable option brought to the table by physicians, by psychiatrists, when previously it was the ultimate last resort,”

she also added hinting towards the acceptance behind the euthanasia and mental health issues these days.

She has also gone through the medical process of signing for the event, and her boyfriend is assigned to throw away her ashes after she is cremated.

“Then she asks if I am ready. I will take my place on the couch. She will once again ask if I am sure, and she will start up the procedure and wish me a good journey. Or, in my case, a nice nap, because I hate it if people say, ‘Safe journey.’ I’m not going anywhere,”

is what she said.
