A video is going viral on the internet showing a man named Carey Birmingham shooting his wife in a fit of anger. His action came after learning that the wife was allegedly having an affair. In the viral clip, Carey Birmingham can be seen wearing a bathrobe with a shotgun pointed at his wife Patricia in the driveway of their Texas home.
According to ABC, the crime was committed on 6 December 2021 at their house located in the 19800 block of Rose Dawn Lane when their daughter Olivia was in school.
A Neighbor told the police authority that they heard the couple arguing over something before the shots were fired.
Carey Birmingham’s horrific video sent shockwaves across the internet
Carey Birmingham is a 60-year-old man from Spring, Texas. He is now being sentenced to 10 years in prison for the murder of his wife Patricia. Recently on March 5, 2024, an all-woman jury sentenced him to 10 years in prison with the possibility of parole after 5 years and with a fine of $7500 ($US5000). The video of the murder was shown during the court hearing.
In the clip, Carey says to his wife-
“All right, goodbye. “You’re [going to] meet Jesus, I hope it was worth it.”
The wife even says to him that he is being filmed to which he replies-
“I’ll pull it. I’m mad enough to pull it.”

Later Patricia’s body was found by the police authority.
The couple’s daughter Olivia told the media-
“I lost both my parents that day. My dad died that day, too, because the person who did that to my mum and my father aren’t the same person.”
She further added saying-
“No matter what was said in this trial, you know what type of woman she was, and you know what you did and how he took away my favourite person in this world.”
