Fans Aren’t Happy With Travis Kelce’s Take On Easter Based To His Old Tweet

Oh well, here we go again. Travis Kelce is in the limelight again and this time it’s not for his girlfriend, Taylor Swift, but for something “nonsense” he posted on social media in 2010.

Fans Aren’t Happy With Travis Kelce’s Take On Easter

Travis Kelce is a famous footballer, and he started gaining notoriety mostly after he started dating Taylor Swift. Now that fans are obsessed with him and digging into his past to know more about him, they have revealed something shockingly derogatory, which did not sit well with people who are very strict with their religion and cultural values.

Apparently, because of the joke he made at Jesus’ expense, it was deemed highly inappropriate. ”happy easter to all!!! #shoutout to Jesus for taking one for the team…. haha,” his tweet (which is now deleted) read.

People are also dragging Taylor Swift into the controversy due to his actions in 2010. Netizens online are claiming that the couple is into demonic activities, as Taylor has already been called a Satanist before.

However, when talking about this issue, Travis told his brother’s podcast that back then when he posted it, he was a nobody and all he posted was nonsensical.

“What’s hilarious is that nobody followed me back then. I was just using Twitter as like a diary… I just gave a squirrel a piece of bread’ and spelled squirrel like a (expletive). … This is why I don’t tweet anymore because it’s just nonsense,” said Kelce in, “New Heights.”

Even though he deleted the post, the screenshot is circulating on the internet and has gone viral. Even though Taylor Swift is dragged in this matter, she has not made a statement as of yet.
