A new 10th monolith has appeared on a hill in Hay-on-Wye in Wales. It looked like a big Toblerone standing on Hay Bluff. This is not the only monolith that has caused curiosity among the public.
The same mysterious monolith was spotted in other areas of the world including one on the Isle of Wight, at the Merry Maidens stone circle in Cornwall and in rural areas of Europe back in 2020.

Richard Haynes who photographed the latest monolith while taking a run near Hay Bluff talked to WalesOnline stating-
‘I went off towards Hay Bluff towards where the trig point is and I looked over to my right. I thought it looked a bit bizarre and might be a scientific media research thing collecting rainwater. But then realised it was way too tall and strange for that. Then I went up to it and it was about 10-foot-tall at least and triangular, definitely stainless steel. It was hollow and I imagine pretty light. Light enough for two people to carry it up and plant it in the ground.’
Many believe it is a work of aliens while some claim that it is a unique piece of art by some artist group.
Back in 2020, a similar structure was spotted in California and Utah. Later it was revealed that the work is done by an artist group based in New Mexico called The Most Famous Artist.
However, the origin of the latest one in Hay-on-Wye, Wales remains unclear. Additionally, the one that appeared in Turkey in 2021 was installed by the government as a publicity stunt before announcing a space program.
At the same time, a theory is circulating online that it is a sign of life on Mars. But till now it has not been officially authenticated.
