WATCH: Brooklyn Subway Shooting Video Goes Viral, Deets Inside

A video has gone viral all over the internet showcasing a shooting in the Brooklyn Subway station. The incident occurred on Thursday afternoon in which a person was shot in his head.

According to the authorities, the Brooklyn Subway Shooting incident occurred on the A/C Hoyt-Schermerhorn Streets station platform around 4:50 p.m., per local time. The platform belongs to the New York Police Department’s 30th transit precinct.

Thus, the video of the incident is currently in circulation all over the internet.

Brooklyn Subway Shooting Video Dominates The Internet

Police at a news briefing on Thursday night stated that the man who got shot was 32 years old. He headed for Manhattan by boarding the C train in Bedford-Stuyvesant, reported Times Now.

As per witnesses, a 36-year-old man greeted him and the next moment targeted him as well inside the train.

As per the police officials, both men got into a physical feud with each other that escalated. Then the 36-year-old brandished a razor blade or a knife.

The NYPD Chief of Transportation, Michael Kemper stated that the two men did not look like knowing each other before the physical brawl happened between them inside the train.

Both the men Started fighting on the train. Out of aggression, the 36-year-old took out a revolver from the pocket of his jacket.

Furthermore, Kemper added that the elder man yelled at the 32-year-old and approached him with the gun, in a menacing manner.

The two got engaged in combat. During the fight, the 32-year-old grabbed the revolver and shot the 36-year-old multiple times.

Joyce Philippe, a passenger on the train but in a different compartment stated to Daily News,

“I was on the train and the train had stopped onto the platform, the doors opened and suddenly there was a rush of people who came and were screaming that someone had a gun.”

He added,

“NYPD was telling everyone to get down and stay down while the train doors stayed open. People were afraid for their lives; it was an incredibly terrifying moment.”

When the gunshots sound became audible, numerous policemen rushed to provide medical attention to the 36-year-old shooting victim.

As per New York Post, the victim was immediately transferred to the Brooklyn Methodist Hospital. He was in a critical condition. Moreover, he is undergoing surgery currently.
