A few hours after Crocus City Hall of Moscow witnessed the terror attack, a video was aired on a Russian TV channel in which an official from Ukraine could be spotted claiming responsibility for the attack.
During a special broadcast on NTV, the Russian television network, on the Moscow terror attack, aired a video, reported TimesNow.
Oleksiy Danilov, the Ukrainian National Security and Defence Council Secretary, could be spotted in the video confirming the involvement of Ukraine in the attack.
Later it was revealed that the video was fake. After the video was aired, a fact-check was conducted.
The video was verified, and it was discovered that the Russian TV Network had aired edited footage.
ISIS Claimed Responsibility for Moscow Terror Attack
According to initial reports, all eyes were on Ukraine, that it was behind the attack.
However, the Ukrainian government released a statement that Kyiv had nothing to do with the deadliest attack on Russia in the last 20 years.
Moreover, the Ukrainian government extended its condolences to the deceased in the terror attack as well.
Sources of Russian intelligence also confirmed that they couldn’t find the involvement of Ukraine in the attack.
The ISIS group – ISIS-K came in the hours after the attack and claimed responsibility for the terror attack.
The attack on Crocus City Hall initially resulted in over 150 people critically injured and 60 deaths. However, as of writing this article, the death toll has touched 115, according to Politico.eu.

As the news about the terror attack at Crocus City Hall spread all over the internet, Narendra Modi, the Prime Minister of India, “condemned the heinous terror attack in Russia.”
Prime Minister Modi added that, “India stands in solidarity with the Russian Federation.” He also extended his “condolences to the families of the victims.”
