The genesis of this rumor can be traced to during a podcast among fellow creators, where one of the hosts claimed that Jimmy had sold his channel to Disney for an astounding $5 billion fee.
The creator claimed: “(Did you know) that MrBeast sold his channel to Disney? $5 billion. The number got leaked (by another creator). Yes, it’s just confirmed.”
However, this rumor has been proved false and has been debunked by none other than Jimmy “MrBeast,” and as per the YouTuber, there has been no such agreement with Disney.
He reacted immediately to the clip and clarified that he had not sold his channel to Disney and it did not have any stake in his channel.
Jimmy “MrBeast” took to his X account and said, “Disney does not own any part of my channel.”
